I have been in the Automotive Service Industry for over 35 years. I have worked as a technician in the United States Army, an independent garage as well as a service director at Original Equipment Manufacturer dealerships (Chrysler, Chevrolet, Cadillac and BMW). I worked for one of the largest fleet companies in the country (U-Haul) in positions from technician to quality assurance advisor. The experiences that I have had afford me the opportunity to share the knowledge that I have gained.

There was a time when working in an automotive repair shop was very rewarding. It was a way of helping with a person’s needs. Let’s face it, the car has become an extension of our body, just like an arm or a leg. We did more than fix cars, we took care of people. As they say “times have changed” and now it’s all about how much we can take from people.

You will probably have people in the automotive industry try to justify some of the things that I discuss in this book, just remember they have a vested interest in getting all the money they can from you, their job depends on it. There is a fine line between over upselling and advising the customer as to what their vehicle needs to remain safe and reliable.

I hope I am able to help by passing along some information that may assist you in the future when you go to a service center to have your car repaired or maintained.

Yearly Rate

$129.99

Up to four vehicles registered in the same household and listed on the enrollment form.

Unlimited advice for the year during the enrollment period.
Fleet vehicles are not eligible.

Expert Witness

$100.00 per hour or 25% of reward.

Will testify in small claims court as an expert.

Will pay the lesser of the $100.00 per hour or 25% of reward.
Must be a subscribed member for this service.
If no reward is given you will only pay $100.00.
Subscriber will be responsible for any expenses to gather evidence such as an oil analysis.
